Continuing Education and Professional Development is a requirement for RMTs

RMTs are regulated by provincial regulatory bodies and must complete a 2 year program and an entry-to-practice exam to ensure they are able to safely and effectively deliver massage therapy.

RMTs in all provinces are required to participate in a quality assurance program to ensure they continue to expand their skills and knowledge, and meet high standards throughout their career.

Massage therapy has material benefits for patients’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being and helps them maintain productive lives. It is not a luxury.  Join our community and show your support for RMTs as an important part of Canada’s health care network.
